Highlights:<br><br>1) Dirtbags rocked the house, sufficiently scaring a small child as we taunted the dirty vaggies with sexual epiteths.<br>2) Gold pants/burgundy tops looked awesome.<br>3) Bucko's seats were in the shade - awesome as it wa shot<br>4) Sexy Rexy posts a 110 QB rating and was en fuego.  awesome.<br>5) Six receivers caught balls. awesome.<br>6) The have the words to hail to the redskins on the jumbotron and everyone was singing after each score,...it was effin sweet<br>7) Party marty rocked out the banjo<br>8) Big Shanny was right. 		<description><![CDATA[<P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class=MsoPlainText><FONT size=3 face=Consolas>I am an eternal optimist when it comes to the Skins and at the end of the lockout I was feeling low.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>I like what they did from an organizational standpoint, I liked their approach to the draft and free agency, and I think we are seeing tangible results on the field already.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>I have zero doubt in my mind that they are better than last year, just how much better is something we need to wait and see on.</FONT></P><P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class=MsoPlainText><FONT size=3 face=Consolas>&nbsp;</FONT></P><P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class=MsoPlainText><FONT size=3><FONT face=Consolas>Offense: I think Hightower is going to have a huge year and is the most visible improvement, I am strongly considering purchasing a 39 jersey (though they are not selling them at Redskins.comn yet).<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>Our offensive line is looking better and presenting/playing as a cohesive unit.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>We have a nice mix at WR as well and I think that unit has the potential to greatly improve through the season.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>The QB is an obvious area for discussion, I'll say the Rex and Beck have thus far shown that they are capable enough to manage the game.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>In the Shannahan system, that is all we need.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>Make the easy throws, read the defenses, hand it off, and don't make the mistakes.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>If we can start to score 25+ points per game then lean on the defense some, we should put up some W's.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN></FONT></FONT></P><P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class=MsoPlainText><FONT size=3 face=Consolas></FONT></P><P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class=MsoPlainText><FONT size=3 face=Consolas>&nbsp;</FONT></P><P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class=MsoPlainText><FONT size=3 face=Consolas>On the defense, I love the addition of Cofield at NT.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>But our front 3 will be much improved and there is again, some depth there.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>Let's hope Jarvis Jenkins is OK after last night, but I think that his knee looks pretty bad.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>But I have REALLY enjoyed seeing the Redskins actually have a pass rush thus far.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>Our LB's are strong and we have depth, they are the strength of our D; I like what I have seen in Kerrigan thus far and London and Orakpo are both All-Pros.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>And our secondary should be strong once it's healthy, not having Laron so far has really held that unit back.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>I think at the end of the year, folks will be HEAPING praise on Jim Haslett too, he is a great coordinator, just isn't head coach material to me.</FONT></P><P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class=MsoPlainText><FONT size=3 face=Consolas>&nbsp;</FONT></P><P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class=MsoPlainText><FONT size=3 face=Consolas>Special teams has long been a sore spot for us, but the addition of Rocca at P is actually huge.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>And Gano SEEMS to be getting his shi* together (after losing 4 or 5 games for us last year) and the new kickoff rule will help us out a lot. </FONT></P><P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class=MsoPlainText><FONT size=3 face=Consolas>&nbsp;</FONT></P><P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class=MsoPlainText><FONT size=3 face=Consolas>Overall, I love where this is going.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>I am keeping my expectations low for this year, but I am confident that we are moving in the right direction.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>Hopefully they surprise the league and all the media that have been so down on them.<SPAN style="mso-spacerun: yes">&nbsp; </SPAN>(though it was crazy to hear Gruden kissing Redskin a** last night).</FONT></P><P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class=MsoPlainText><FONT size=3 face=Consolas>&nbsp;</FONT></P><P style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt" class=MsoPlainText><FONT size=3 face=Consolas>HAIL!!!!</FONT></P><P></P>]]></description>
