1. McNabb trade to Vikes is apparently done.  We get a 6th rounder next year and a conditional 6th rounder the following year if he plays well in Minnesota.  So we actually get something for him and we dump his salary cap hit.  Best possible solution right there.

2. We signed Barry Cofield, former NY Giant.  This is a solid acquisition and he should be good at the NT point position in Haslett's 3-4.

3. The Jets paid Santonio Holmes $50MM, so he is off our list and there is no way we can overpay him.  Phew.  Does this make Braylon Edwards a target for us??  Cause there is no way the Jets can pay him now.

4. We re-signed Santana for 3-years and $15MM, I love this.

5. We also just signed Donte Stallworth for a 1-year deal. Terms not disclosed.  I think this is also a good move.  

6. We cut Josh Bidwell, our punter.  Who cares, he was pretty bad.  It is reported we are looking at Bray Maynard there, no idea if this is good or bad news (he was a Bear).

7. Finally, there are reports we are looking into Matt Leinart.  Not sure I like that, but here is what the Post said on it: " Leinart has been a disappointment thus far in his career, but he’s still young and has time to turn things around. Keep in mind that last season, he played in Houston for Gary Kubiak, a Mike Shanahan disciple, and so he likely has just about as much familiarity with the Redskins’ system as Beck does. Could Leinart beat out Beck and Grossman for the starting job? You wouldn’t exactly call it mission impossible."
