Maybe The Shanny's know more about football than some people are giving them credit for...
Cause that was some good shit Friday night. I have gone from down to up like a damn yo yo - but I liked what I saw. This team may really be better. And yea, maybe they could win the East.
They sure as shit could.

I liked what I saw too, mistake free (except Graham who has been cut), no turnovers, and clean execution of a very simple game plan. Not to mention, the O-line looked REAL strong. That was certainly a feel good performance.
While watching the game, we hatched a theory of our own. What if the the Shanny's have been building up Beck as the starter all the while knowing that they wanted to start Rex?? Some sort of subterfuge to keep the pressure on Rex low?? I sure as hell wouldn't put that kind of lying past Mike Shannahan!!!

So I am not sure they wanted Beck to go out and give like a thousand interviews syaing he is the starter, but I do agree that they wanted competition. I have always said that competition makes EVERYONE better - the QB, the WRs, the RB, the O-line. Because now you've got Beck pushing everyone to play well so he can possibly start. This is good for everyone. But right now it's just good for The President, because now I can't fucking wait to watch Beck play Friday night.
Suppose he plays better and has like a 150 QB rating? Fuckin aye...that would be sweet...
